The American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA) was founded in 1984 to provide education and technical assistance for all people, in order to protect public health, and drinking water through effective cross-connection control. Through its network of regions and chapters, local needs and interests are supported with the resources of the national organization.

To bring ABPA's far reaching vision into reality here in the four state area of Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska, by providing education and technical assistance for all people, in order to protect public health, and drinking water through effective cross-connection control.
